GENERAL CONDITIONS

It is important that you understand these general conditions.
They explain many of your rights and responsibilities as well as those of Island Resort Tours.

PAYMENTS

We recommend insurance to protect you from unforeseen circumstances.
Credit Cards: Island Resort Tours will accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover, Diner's Club and American Express cards. Credit cards only for published airfares.

PRICES AND PRICE ASSURANCE

Island Resort Tours will assure that your vacation price will not increase once you have paid in full. For this assurance to be in effect, your full payment must clear the bank prior to the effective date Island Resort Tours designates for a price increase. If you change your reservation, you may negate the assurance. Travel prices can change frequently. We recommend that you pay in full now to assure your price.

Children: reduced airfare is sometimes available for children 2-11 (depending on the date of travel) staying in the same room at most hotels with their parents. Children under the age of two can fly free (taxes may apply) if they ride on their parent's laps. At many hotels, children can stay free when sharing with two adults using existing beds. Hotels may limit the total number of occupants per room.
Price Changes: Prices listed are correct at time of posting and are subject to change without notice. Sales are not retroactive.
Surcharges: Holidays and peak travel periods may be surcharged.
Limited Availability: Prices shown are subject to availability. Higher prices may apply. Our lowest prices may not be available on all days and all flights.

CHANGES/CANCELS/REFUNDS

We recommend the Island Resort Tours Trip Insurance Plan to protect you from unforeseen circumstances.
Standard Policies: See Change/Cancel Summary, subject to change without notice.
Supplier Change/Cancel/Reticketing Fees: Occasionally,within 35 or so days prior to departure, additional supplier fees may be assessed in addition to the Island Resort Tours change/cancel fees stated above.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

The right to a refund if you cancel or change plans is limited. All requests for a refund made after departure must be in writing and received by mail or fax within 30 days of your return date. Unused portions of your vacation (e.g. hotel accommodations, tours and activities, etc.) will not be refunded.

For changes or cancellations prior to departure, Island Resort Tours will remit a refund within 30 days less the following:

supplier charges for cancellation
administrative charge of $50pp by Island Resort Tours for processing the cancellation.

Supplier charges vary and may be significant. For refunds on special or weekly rates for accommodations, the used portion will be charged at regular published daily rates

EXCEPTIONS AND OTHER CONDITIONS

Change/Cancel Fee Exceptions: Holiday, peak travel and "special rates" vacations; may require more restrictive payment, change and cancel conditions.

Change/Cancel policies for booking with published air tickets vary by air carrier. You can confirm the policies at the time of booking with Island Resort Tours.

Hotel Rating and Categories: Are intended to generally describe the differences among properties, accommodations and amenities. They are accurate at the time of posting, but will change from to time. Category ratings are not meant to be descriptions of properties used.
Minimum Stays: May apply, especially over holidays.

Hotel descriptions are accurate at the time of posting. We reserve the right to make changes, as complimentary extras may be discontinued at any time.

VACATION TRAVEL DOCUMENTS

Delivery: Travel documents will be mailed approximately 14 days prior to your departure. Travel Documents cannot be mailed until Island Resort Tours receives full payment.

PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP

A valid passport, birth certificate or certificate of naturalization are the acceptable documents for U.S. citizens when presented with photo I.D. for many destinations. However, some destinations now accept passports only. No refunds will be made if improper documentation results in denied boarding or entry. If you are not a U.S. citizen be certain to check with the consulate of the country you are traveling to for full entry requirements (Visas may be required in addition to passports). All passengers, including children, are now required to carry some form of official photo identification. Requirements may change after this posting so we recommend that you verify any immigration requirements with the tourist office or consulate before you travel.

Participant(s) are responsible for determining and obtaining proper documentation. Minors under 18 years of age require written notarized permission from both parents.

RESPONSIBILITY AND LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY

Island Resort Tours, as the tour operator, is solely responsible for selecting the suppliers that provide the component parts (e.g. hotel accommodations, air transportation, transfers, and car rental firms) for the vacations described on this website. These suppliers are independent contractors. Island Resort Tours does not own, control or operate, not is it an agent for any suppliers furnishing tour component parts, and therefore in the absence of its negligence, Island Resort Tours cannot be held liable for loss or damage to property or injury to person, caused by reason of any act or omission, intentional negligence or otherwise by such third party supplier. Island Resort Tours makes no implied or expressed warranties in the offering of any tour described on this website. Island Resort Tours reserves the right to cancel or alter any itinerary at its sole discretion. The information and rates are accurate at the time of posting and are subject to change without notice.

By making final payment for any of the vacations, customer acknowledges and agrees to all of the terms and conditions, in particular, to the limitations of liability set forth above.
